ASVAB INFORMATION
The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) Career Exploration Program is a military enlistment test that measures developed abilities and helps predict future academic and occupational success in the military. Students who are interested in the military and/or those seeking to learn more about their career interests and aptitudes may take this exam. Typically, ASVAB is offered twice a year (Fall / Spring) at Reno High School. Students interested in taking the ASVAB at a different location or different time of year stop by the College and Career Center for more information. - Students in grades 10-12 are eligible to take this exam.
- The exam takes approximately 3 hours.
- Format: computer. If back up is needed, it will be pencil and paper.
- Cost: Free
- Attendance will be excused for registered students who have classes during the testing time.

INFORMACIÓN SOBRE EL EXAMEN ASVAB
El Programa de exploración de carreras de la Batería de Aptitud Vocacional de los Servicios Armados (ASVAB) es una prueba de alistamiento militar que mide las habilidades desarrolladas y ayuda a predecir el éxito académico y ocupacional futuro en el ejército. Los estudiantes que estén interesados en el ejército y/o aquellos que busquen aprender más sobre sus intereses y aptitudes profesionales pueden tomar este examen. Normalmente, ASVAB se ofrece dos veces al año (otoño/primavera) en Reno High School. Los estudiantes interesados en tomar el ASVAB en un lugar diferente o en una época diferente del año visitan el Centro Universitario y Profesional para obtener más información. • Los estudiantes en los grados 10-12 son elegibles para tomar este examen.
