Race Reimbursement

  • The WCSD Wellness Program offers reimbursement for completing up to two races per calendar year. Year 2022 races are DUE no later than June 1, 2023. All documents listed below must be submitted for full consideration. 
    • Your completed Race Reimbursement Request Form
    • Proof of registration
    • Proof of payment (reimbursements are for race fees only. Service fees, swag, and travel costs do not qualify)
    • Proof of race completion (final race time or photo at the finish line) 

Run/Walk

    • Ultra Distance (anything over 26.2 miles) - 50%
    • Marathon (26.2 miles) - 75%
    • Half Marathon (13.1 miles) - 75%
    • Tough Mudder/Spartan - 75%
    • Reno-Tahoe Odyssey/Team Relay Race - 75%
    • 10k (6.2 miles) - 75%
    • 5k - 100%
    • 1 mile - 100%

     

Swimming

    • 3+ miles - 75%
    • 2-3 miles - 75%
    • 1 mile - 100%

Biking

    • 100 miles (160km) - 75%
    • 50 miles (80km) - 75%
    • 25 miles (40km) - 75%
    • 12 miles (8km) -100%
    • 5 miles (8km) - 100%

Triathlon

    • Triathlon (Half/Full distance) - 50%
    • Triathlon (Sprint/Olympic) - 75%
  • The Wellness Program will reimburse employees, retirees, and spouses on District Health Insurance for up to two races per calendar year. Reimbursements are valid for race fees only. Service charges, processing fees, swag, supplies, and travel fees are not included. All employee reimbursements will be paid through regular payroll checks. You must submit race documentation no later than June 1, 2023, for the year 2022 races. Late submissions will not be accepted.
