Sometimes this message gets filtered into your spam folder, so be sure to check for it there.Our school uses a web-based platform which provides access to our curriculum. First things first! You'll need to get to know your way around the system. Please spend some time today completing the Student Orientation. You can access this on your homepage by scrolling all the way to the bottom. It's listed under "To Do".
COMPLETING LESSONS (AND FINALIZING ENROLLMENT)
Next, you will see a list of introductory lessons showing on your homepage this morning. Your job today is to get to know the system a little bit by opening and completing all of the listed lessons. Completing one lesson in each course today is extremely important to finalize your enrollment at North Star.GETTING HELP
If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask!- For general system-based questions, reach out to the advisory teacher. The advisor is the main point of contact for general questions and concerns, as well as weekly attendance.
- For specific questions related to assignments and/or content in a course, reach out to the teacher of course directly. Contact information for all of a student's teachers can be found on the right side of the student homepage.
- For technical questions or issues within the Connexus platform, please call Student Technical Support at 1-888-322-9353.
- For questions about a student's scheduled courses or inquiries related to graduation requirements, reach out to the student's counselor. Heather McLaughlin is our 9-12 counselor.
