    Guided Notes are instructor-prepared handouts that provide students with standard cues with specific spaces to write key facts, concepts, and/or relationships during the lecture.

    Can be used for:

    • Review before assessments

    • Most beneficial when you’ve taken the time to orient yourself to your notes to easily access content

    How to use them:

    • Print them
    • Fill them in and save the files
    • Use them to identify key concepts to include as you develop your own notes
    • Use for study/review
    • Cover the answers and self-test
    • Fill-in the note-taker after you go through the lesson to self-test
