My name is Rachel Cresci ("Cressy" rhymes with "messy") and I teach science at North Star Online School in Reno, NV.  I was born in Northridge, California, but I moved to Southern Nevada when I was 8.  After graduating high school, I earned a B.A. in Psychology from UNLV.  In 2008, I moved to Reno to attend the University of Nevada School of Medicine.  After 2 years at UNSOM, I transferred to UNR to get my teaching license in secondary science education.  In 2016, I completed my Master's of Science in Educational Administration from Fort Hays State University.  I have been teaching at North Star Online School since 2011.

I enjoy spending time with my husband, step-daughter Tatiana, son Logan, daughter Isabella, and our blue-nosed pitbull, Justice!
