Welcome Site Content Managers!
All district offices, schools, and departments are required to develop and maintain a presence on the district website. While not all offices and departments offer information related to the public, it is important to use the district website to provide information to our employees.Guidelines and Requirements (important)
It is very important for you to follow the guidelines while maintaining your site or working on the web within the district. Following the guidelines will ensure consistency and compliance with both the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Office of Civil Rights.ADA/Americans with Disabilities Act
All content on your site must meet the Americans With Disabilities Act content guidelines. Content that does not meet the ADA guidelines can and will be removed from your site, possibly without notice. The content of your site includes all documents, images, and all text content.3rd Party Sites

This administrative procedure establishes guidelines for the management of content posted to websites maintained by the Washoe County School District. - Reg 7240 – Access to Programs and Services Through Information Technology
This administrative regulation describes the protocols for ensuring accessibility of the online content and functionality for any individual accessing a website maintained by the Washoe County School District.
No department, school, or teacher will create a site outside of the district site/template without approval from the Superintendent or designee.
