- All content must meet guidelines for Americans With Disabilities compliance.
- All content must be reviewed by the site administrator.
- Teachers that maintain an individual teacher site are ultimately responsible for maintaining that site.
- Correct grammar and spelling must be used.
- Persons who create and maintain web pages will edit the pages for the accuracy of links, and check for conformance with standards outlined in these guidelines on a regular basis.
- Content must be directly related to the WCSD mission and not in conflict with any district policies, rules or regulations.

Privacy
- Personal contact information for students, parents, and faculty, including home and e-mail addresses, telephone numbers, and other information will not be published on any website.
- In order for student names, photographs and projects to be included on the public area of the WCSD website, there must be a release signed by the student's parent or legal guardian on file.
Copyright
- On the internet, it is best just to assume everything is copyrighted until you can find otherwise. Artists, photographers, and other content holders are not required to prove that the images or graphics displayed on a site are copyrighted. If you find something on the internet you are really interested in using, it is best just to email the owner and ask for permission for use and how you intend to use the content. A lot of times, content owners do not mind their material being used in educational material as long as they get a heads up first. Also, make sure you ask how they would like you to relay credit for the content.
- Fair Use
- Fair Use can be very confusing and a bit difficult as it is based on whether or not it is fair for something to be copyrighted or not. The copyright office has a site that can help you if you find yourself getting in the middle of Fair Use situations.
